Well worth reading

This was a period of time I didn't know about, so it was fascinating to read, and the moral dilemma facing the characters makes it all that more interesting. Well worth reading.

Exciting reading

I’m really enjoying the Rutland series of books. I read a lot of crime fiction so am not easily impressed. This novel was exciting, well plotted and the main characters so well drawn that you can easily empathise with them. Highly recommended

Another really enjoyable read.

Another really enjoyable book - made all the better for me from knowing a lot of the locations. Realistic and believable characters, they’ve got their own lives to sort out too, but thankfully the author has not created the sort of ‘personality quirks’ that become irritating, and distract from the main story. Thoroughly enjoyable read, will soon be starting the next of the 3 bought recently.
